Cinque Terre

Riva di oro began on a stretch of coastline in Cinque Terre — a particular light, a particular colour of water, a stillness that stayed with us long after the holiday ended.

We wanted to keep it. Not as a photograph, but as something worn.

That idea became Riva di oro. It took four years to get right — formulas rejected, others refined until they stopped needing changes — before the brand launched in 2026.

The composition

Each fragrance is developed in Italy, using the accords and techniques of classical Italian perfumery. Nothing about the process is rushed. A formula is only finished when it holds together the way the coastline does — clear at first, then deeper, then difficult to forget.

The intention is simple: a scent that feels assured before an important moment, unguarded through a slow evening, and still present in a room long after you've left it.

Origin and making

The formulas are Italian. The making is British.

Composition takes place in Italy, where the accords are built. Blending, bottling, and packaging take place at our facility in the UK. Keeping production close to home lets us hold our fragrances at extrait de parfum concentration without the cost, or the wait, of shipping finished bottles from abroad.

We'd rather explain this plainly than dress it up. A fragrance that holds its shape on skin for hours will always say more than a paragraph could.
